Department Of Education believes that library is the most important element in the facilities of an educational institution and hence the DOE has developed a well-equipped Library to cater the information requirements of students and faculty members for their academic accomplishments. The library has built a balanced collection of Eight Thousand Six hundred twenty Five (8625) books and Three hundred forty six (346) reference tools to support academic curricula, educational and various social science subjects. All the books are organized using Dewey Decimal Classification (DDC) Scheme.
The Library is open from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on all working days. Library services include circulation (issue/return) of books, Inter-Library Loan through DELNET, New Delhi, Using e-G4 library software for storage &
retrieval of Bibliographical Databases, developed by the National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India.
